Caitlin joined the EIBB in June of 2005.	She started playing cornet in 2001. She has also played the piano for the past 12 years and has sang for the past 5. She plans to keep on playing as a hobby.
Caitlin grew up in Glendale Heights, IL and moved to Iowa as a small child. She mainly grew up in rural Solon, but moved to town in 2005.
Caitlin plans to attend Kirkwood Community College and the University of Iowa for degrees in Dental Hygiene and Public Health.
Currently Caitlin is working part-time in the Hy-Vee kitchen in Iowa City. "Always serving pre-made, processed food with a smile!"
	Caitlin says her best memories of times with the band are; "Sitting next to Steve is always a real treat but I haven't been corrupted...too much... I'm just lucky to have been able to play at such a young age, it's been such an experience., I would like to forget the time when Dan Davies accidentally stood on my skirt during Brass Presentation in Missouri so I was rendered unable to stand up straight and play when it was the cornet's turn..., I enjoy lyric pieces that Todd and Dennis play."
Caitlin says, "I'm 17 years old and live in Solon. I live with my parents, Loren and Teresa. I have 2 brothers. Ryan is 24 and is an accountant in Des Moines. Brandon is 21 and lives in Waterloo. I have 3 dogs: Molly, Simon, and Andy. I play the piano and sing in addition to the trumpet/cornet. I enjoy video games and food and rarely go a day without wearing converse tennis shoes."
