Dave Parsons Cornet/Trombone Tenor Horn dave@frohwein.com
Dave joined the EIBB in 1990.	Started playing trumpet in 1965. He also plays the upright string bass in bluegrass bands and the baritone and euphonium. Dave says he's played 3 different instruments in the EIBB this year alone and looks forward to the next one. "I have this musical A.D.D. thing going...", says Dave.
Dave grew up in Iowa City, IA and says that he has never been away for more than 2 months at a time.
He got his BBA in Finance from the Unveristy of Iowa in Iowa City.
Currently Dave is a partner with his brother in Frohwein Office Plus, an office furniture and supply company with locations in Coralville, Davenport and Wilton, Iowa.
	Dave says that all his time with the EIBB is good and nothing really stands out. "Perversely, I always look forward to the weekly reheasals (or rehearsing weakly, as Dave DeHoff might say)., I think I drank so much beer at that event that I already forgot it..., I like the ones that feature whistles, cow bells and fire engine sirens. Our band has 28 musicians and three drummers - it gives them something to do."
Dave is interested in conservation issues, politics, motorcycles, classic cars, scuba diving, downhill skiing, weightlifting and gardening.
