For 2008 we will have the Eastern Iowa Brass Band, the Chicago Brass Band and the Illinois Brass Band presenting concerts.

The Chicago Brass Band has a vision of becoming a world class brass band in the British tradition, but not bound by that tradition, striving to reflect the American musical culture. This year they placed 2nd in the Championship Section of the NABBA competition.	Founded in 1991, the Illinois Brass Band is made up of volunteer musicians from Illinois and Wisconsin. It has won 6 NABBA Championships and competed at the British Open in Birmingham, England.

Ticket prices at the gate are $8 for adults and $2 for children over the age of 5.

This is a tentative schedule of the bands for Saturday, June 14. We hope that you will be able to come for the entire day. Each band will present different concerts, so you will hear different music all day long! KMRY Radio (1450-AM in Cedar Rapids) will broadcast the 11:00 EIBB concert live! If you live in the CR Metro area and can't make it to the first concert, listen in!

This promises to be an exciting festival. Come early and stay all day! Bring a lawn chair and blanket and sit under one of the many large shade trees and listen to wonderful music all day long for one low admission price.
