Joined the EIBB in 2007	Started playing Trombone at a very young age.
Grew up in the south somewhere.
Matt received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama and his Master of Music in trombone performance from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
Currently Matt is serving as an adjunct professor for Central College in Pella, teaching low brass and Lower Brass Methods. He is currently completing his Doctorate of Musical Arts in Trombone Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Iowa.
Another picture of Matt is coming soon	Matt has played with the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band as well as the Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra and Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra. Before moving to Iowa, Matt taught in the Warren County School system in McMinnville, Tennessee.
