For more than 20 years the Eastern Iowa Brass Band has delighted crowds throughout Iowa and the United States. Whether they are a featured group of a community's artist series in a concert hall or part of a summer festival outdoors in a park, their performance is sure to please any crowd. Music for their concerts ranges from marches to show tunes, from original works for brass band to well-known wind band literature. There is something for every musical taste. Like the town bands of a by-gone era, the 30-member Eastern Iowa Brass Band is made up of volunteer musicians. Members come from cities and towns in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City area and come together for the love of performing. In an attempt to recapture the fun and enthusiams of those old town bands, members of the Eastern Iowa Brass Band dress the way people might have dressed back a hundred years ago. Won't you consider helping us continue to bring music to our audience? Because the Eastern Iowa Brass Band is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, as defined by the IRS, your contribution can be tax-deductible. Please contact EIBB Treasurer Dave Philipp. There are several levels at which you may contribute. In addition, there are provisions if you would like to dedicate a specific piece at a concert or gust conduct a piece at a concert. See the chart below for the list:
We want to thank everyone that contributed to the 2007 campaign.
