Joined the EIBB in September of 2007	Started playing Cornet and Trumpet many years ago.
Peter grew up in the suburbs of the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
He has a BA degree in English and a Cachelor of Music degree along with a Masters Degree after attending Lawrence University and the University of Iowa.
Currently Peter is what he describes as a "Pie-in-the-sky academic" and a freelace musician. Peter plans to continue playing and playing and playing, when he isn't practicing of course. He enjoys playing Jazz, Calssical, Improvisational, Church Music. He says, "Have horns, will travel!"
One of his most fond memories of performing withe the EIBB is the first time he donned his "outfit", saw cameras around and realized he could never run for political office. His rehearsal memory is the time(s) he forgot to bring a pencil!
Peter enjoys eating barbeque, visiting/antiquing in small Iowa towns that are new to him, reading old books about American history and books about the midwest and also playing with his three mini dachshunds.
